With Jaw Crusher PULVERISETTE 1 Model I, sample can be pre crushed. The complete sample amount has been ground within 3 minutes. Afterwards, the majority of ground sample use to be < 8 mm long. Only a few particles can be found with a total length of up to 11 mm. Resulting particles use to have a thickness of max. 4 mm.

The grinding chamber use to be almost free of residues; a grinding of higher amounts is still possible.

For a rapid cleaning, we recommend vacuuming with a soft brush.

Disk Mill PULVERISETTE 13 classic line

After sample has been pre ground in result 1, fine grinding of higher amounts can be performed with our Disk Mill PULVERISETTE 13 (max. feed size: 2 cm).

The 740 g of pre ground sample have been ground with the smallest passible gap setting within 4:30 minutes. Resulting particles use to have a thickness of < 0,1 mm. The maximum particle length use to be about 0,3 – 0,4 mm.

A grinding of higher amounts is still possible.

After the sample has been ground, a small amount of material is lying loose on the ribs of the disks or in the area of the feeding funnel. Cleaning can be performed rapidly by vacuuming with a soft brush.
