Recommendation:	We recommend using a Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 15 for grinding of your kind of sample. If a higher amount of sample should be ground, we recommend using a rotor and fixed knives made of hardmetal tungsten carbide for a much longer durability.

Comments:	The 5 cm long fibers can be ground rapidly. Within 30 seconds, all material has been comminuted. Because some fibers can pass the used sieve cassette openings longitudinal, it is possible that even longer fibers can be found in the collecting vessel. After grinding, only a bit of fine dust use to remain inside the grinding chamber. Sieve cassettes openings remain free; a grinding of higher amounts is still possible. For a rapid cleaning, we recommend vacuuming with a soft brush. If such fibers might be ground several times in a daily basis, we would recommend choosing a rotor and fixed knives made of hardmetal tungsten carbide instead of steel. Hardmetal tungsten carbide will have a much longer durability as steel.
