After a grinding of 400 g of sample, bit of sample use to stick below the rotor (probably because of the humidity of sample). It is recommended removing these residues after 200 – 250 g of sample have been ground.
We don’t recommend grinding the desired amount of 1 kg of sample in one batch.
We also found two small metal pieces of ~ 2x15 mm within the sample. Pieces like this will be able to damage sieve ring or rotor. They need to be separated from the carbon black!
