*1: A grinding with sintered corundum is possible. While grinding, a lot of abrasion of Al2O3 has been formed (~ 1-3g). Especially because less possible abrasion is required, a usage of sintered corundum is not recommended.

250 ml bowl made of zirconium oxide (ZrO2) + 45x 15 mm ZrO2 balls

*1: Because a direct grinding of sample is impossible, the sample has been pre grinded with PULVERISETTE 14 (see trial 3).

*2: 80ml of isopropyl alcohol (IPA) have been used for grinding the sample.

*3: For grinding the desired amount of sample (50g), a bigger bowl like the used 250ml bowl needs to be used. Therefore, we grinded the sample with maximum speed (650rpm) with our PULVERISETTE 6. While grinding, it has shown, that the grinding success is limited. We aborted grinding after 60mintes with a fineness of d10 <3µm; d50 <11µm ; d90<26µm (meas.no. 28663 with ANALYSETTE 22 NanoTec)). A longer grinding is still possible.
