Before grinding, the massive soap bar has been cut into small pieces with a maximum length of ~ 2 cm. Afterwards, sample have been fed to the machine and got ground within 3 minutes.
Because curd soap tends to smear over sieve ring and rotor, we ground the sample with the optional impact bar.
The resulting particles of sample use to be < 0.8 mm in diameter; a few particles use to show a length of ~ 2 mm.
It might be possible using a smaller sieve ring for when a pre grinding step might be performed or sample will be embrittled previously.
