A previous trial with Planetary Mono Mill PULVERISETTE 6 has shown that a planetary mill comes not into question for a grinding of your kind of sample.

For this, we tried grinding your sample with Vibrating Cup Mill PULVERISETTE 9. Smaller amounts as requested can be ground in e.g. 50 ml grinding sets. For higher sample amounts, up to 250 ml grinding sets are available.

We interrupted the grinding process after a total of 3 minutes and found that all particles use to be < 120 µm (checked by optical microscopy).

A longer grinding time might be possible for a further reduction of particle size.

With a filling of 45 g of sample, the desired fineness use to be reached after a total grinding time of 5 minutes. Still longer grinding times are possible for a further reduction of particles size.
