Complete sample amount has been fed and ground within 4 minutes. A few of the particles show a maximum length up to 3 cm. This might be potential candidates which can jam the feeding funnel. For a constant feeding without jamming, we recommend only using particles < 2 cm.
In our trial, all particles have been fed without problems, a support of feeding with a brush has not been necessary.
Because a bit of the fine dust escaped the feeding funnel, we were placing the tube of a vacuum cleaner next to the machine.
After 4 minutes, all samples have been ground. Mainly electrostatic charged sample use to remain inside the grinding chamber. Cleaning can be performed rapidly by vacuuming with a soft brush.
To determine the achieved fineness, we sieved out an aliquot of ground sample with our Vibratory Sieve Shaker ANALYSETTE 3 Pro and a test sieve of 90 µm mesh. Already 90 % of ground material is able to pass the mesh of the test sieve.
