For adaptation to your special application we offer extensive accessories. A 1.4 l grinding vessel made of autoclavable transparent scratch resistant plastic with a standard lid made of silicone and the standard knife made of stainless steel are included in the basic price of the instrument. When ordering a deviating specification of the standard accessories, please specify the exact article number of the part to be replaced.
Since the grinding times of the PULVERISETTE 11 are so short so that your samples can be processed very fast, it is worthwhile to order several grinding vessels right away for parallel use.
Additional grinding vessels and knives are available on request.
The grinding vessel made of autoclavable, transparent scratch-resistant plastic PC is included. For cryogenic comminution and for the grinding of harder samples we also offer a grinding vessel made of autoclavable stainless steel 316L.
Additional grinding vessels are available on request.
The grinding vessel made of plastic PC is included with the FRITSCH Knife Mill. The transparent grinding vessel made of scratch-resistant autoclavable plastic PC for the optimal observation of the comminution process is suitable for all standard samples.
For cryogenic comminution and for the grinding of harder samples we also offer a grinding vessel made of stainless steel 316L: order no. 11.3160.00.
Additional grinding vessels are available on request.
The grinding vessel made of autoclavable stainless steel 316L is suitable for cryogenic comminution and for the grinding of harder samples. Samples which are difficult to grind can be embrittled with liquid nitrogen directly in the grinding vessel made of stainless steel 316L. The sample materials remain 100 % cold.
For this purpose, please select the special lid with the easily exchangeable single-use sieve insert for cryogenic comminution: order no. 11.3224.00.
We also offer a transparent grinding vessel made of scratch-resistant, autoclavable plastic PC for optimal observation of the comminution process: order no. 11.3151.16.
Additional grinding vessels are available on request.

Available is a standard lid made of silicone, a Vario-Lid system with plunger mad of plastic PP and reduction sample pusher, as well as a reduction sample pusher. For cryogenic comminution we offer a special lid with single-use sieve insert.
Additional lids are available on request.
The included standard lid made of silicone is ideal for the comminution of soft, medium-hard samples which do not need to be compressed.
The following lids are also available:
Vario-Lid system with plunger made of plastic PP and reduction sample pusher for moist, liquid and viscous sample materials: order no. 11.3180.00.
Special lid for cryogenic comminution with single-use sieve insert: order no. 11.3220.00.
Additional lids are available on request.
The freely adjustable Vario-Lid system made of plastic PP fulfils two important requirements at the same time: It can be used to reduce the grinding chamber volume down to 0.54 litres and to manually compress and loosen up the sample material at the beginning and at any time during comminution. Thus you always achieve a homogeneous sample in a narrow particle size range even for smaller sample quantities and for difficult to grind materials.
The Vario-Lid system automatically returns rising liquids during the comminution and can be used for most sample materials.
For the Vario-Lid system, is a reduction sample pusher with plunger for dry, solid samples available: order no. 11.3189.16.
The following lids are also available:
Standard lid made of silicone (included with the instrument) is ideal for the comminution of soft, medium-hard samples which do not have to be compressed: order no. 11.3203.15.
Special lid for cryogenic comminution with single-use sieve insert: order no. 11.3220.00.
Additional lids are available on request.
The reduction sample pusher is perfectly suited for dry, solid samples. The sample can be manually compressed or loosened at any time during the comminution.
Special lid for cryogenic comminution with single-use sieve insert for cryogenic comminution with the grinding vessel made of stainless steel 316L: order no. 11.3160.00.
For this lid we offer a set of single-use sieve inserts (set = 10 inserts): order no. 11.3224.00.
The following lids are also available:
Standard lid made of silicone (included with the instrument) is ideal for the comminution of soft, medium-hard samples which do not have to be compressed: order no. 11.3203.15.
Vario-Lid system with plunger made of plastic PP and reduction sample pusher for moist, liquid and viscous sample materials: order no. 11.3180.00.

The easily exchangeable single-use sieve insert together with the special lid for cryogenic grinding guarantee a reliable protection against contamination and is used together with the special lid for cryogenic grinding: order no 11.3220.00.
The standard knife made of stainless steel can be used for comminution of nearly all materials due to its four blades and a well-conceived geometry. For comminution of especially fibrous, tough or sinewy samples, we recommend the knife with serrated blades made of stainless steel.
Additional knives are available on request.
The standard knife with four cutting edges of the PULVERISETTE 11 (included with the instrument) can be used for the comminution of nearly all materials. The specially curved knife blades achieve with up to 56,000 cutting processes per minute a homogeneous sample significantly faster than comparable instruments at the same grinding time and rotational speed. And in reverse mode, the knives enable a better thorough mixing if necessary.
The following knife is also available:
Knife with serrated blades made of stainless steel for the comminution of especially fibrous, tough or sinewy samples: order no. 11.3210.00.
Additional knives available on request.
The knife with serrated blades made of stainless steel is especially suited for the comminution of especially fibrous, tough or sinewy samples.
The following knife is also available:
Standard knife with four blades made of stainless steel (included with the instrument). This knife can be used for can be used for the comminution of nearly all materials: order no. 11.3204.00.
Additional knives available on request.
Additionally available are a bayonet lock for mounting the knife to the grinding vessel, scraper and a certification for your Knife Mill PULVERISETTE 11.
The knife is securely mounted by the bayonet lock (included with the instrument) and cannot come loose even if the sample material is very hard or the start-up speed is too high.
The scraper made of robust plastic is a useful helper in the laboratory and can be utilized to remove sample material completely from the grinding vessel.
IQ/OQ documentation (questionnaire format - implementation not included) for the independent utilization for the support of instrument qualification in the quality management system for the Knife Mill PULVERISETTE 11.
